Patrons and Friends of the Arts presents “Britnee Siemon and Hungry Monk”

Experience the Hungry Monks featuring Britnee Siemon onvocals, accompanied by lute, guitar/bass, flute/guitar, and fiddle/banna dee dha. Music will feature the music of Bach, lute and Italian Baroque guitar melodies of the 17th century, popular Southern Ballads and melodies of Stephen Foster, and the occasional German drinking song and Irish tune. This concert will take place under the oak in the courtyard at Ebenezer. We are thrilled to partner with a local brewery for an afternoon and evening of Baroque, Bach, and brew! The concert is free, but food and beverage are available for purchase.

Men’s Oyster Roast

Ebenezer Men's Oyster Roast January 23, 6:00 pm in the courtyard off Richland St. Men of Ebenezer, please join us for an Oyster Roast! We'll have oysters for roasting and chili for those who'd like a heartier meal. Drinks will be provided, but you are welcome to BYOB if you prefer something more exotic than tea. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to invite friends and connect with other men in the parish. The cost for the evening is $25.00/person and includes all your food and beverages. Please RSVP by Sunday, January 19, 12:00 noon. You may pay online to RSVP or RSVP by emailing David Turner and giving him your cash or check.

Patrons and Friends of the Arts presents “Polka, Pilsner, & Probst”

Patrons and Friends of the Arts at Ebenezer, Inc. will play host to one of the Southeast’s top polka bands, featuring delicious local German food provided by the Wurst Wagon and ice-cold brews. Since 2009, Mountain Top Polka Band has been celebrating German culture through music and dance. MTP started as a small group from a Lutheran church in western North Carolina providing Oktoberfest entertainment. The name “Mountain Top Polka Band” name became official in 2010 and has played in six states (NC, SC, TN, GA, VA, & TX) and numerous festivals, parties, restaurants, and Oktoberfest festivals. Band members dress in traditional German attire and take control of the audience by teaching polka dances and other crowd favorites guaranteed to get your feet moving. General admission is $5, and food and beverage will be available for sale. Tickets are available at the door, or online at http://patronsandfriends.org/events/.
