As we continue to navigate Covid-19 precautions we’re hopeful we’ll continue to stay safe and connected. Speaking of Hope, the season of Advent is upon us and not a moment too soon. The church is preparing to welcome the Christ Child and there’s a place for YOU.
In this post you will find (3) links for Advent opportunities.
1. Slots for Decorating the church
2. Wreath Making – small version of the Advent Fellowship
3. Virtual Christmas Pageant
Decorating the Church
Decorating the Church, Nov. 22, 23, 24, 25 will take place over 4 days, beginning Sunday November 22. There are slots created for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of that week as well. Please find a time that works for you and indicate in the comment section what your task preference is. There are some tasks that require a ladder or lifting, so please let us know what you are comfortable doing.
Advent Fellowship/Wreath Making
Nov. 22, 2:00-4:00 The Advent Fellowship will take place, with a little less frills, but just the same community and fun! We will meet in the Richland Street Courtyard to make wreaths. Each family or chosen group will be assigned a table with individual supplies. Please indicate in the number of individuals in your family group in the comment section of the sign up.
Virtual Christmas Pagaent
Virtual Christmas Pageant, videos due by Dec. 13, 12:00 noon. Since rehearsing a play together this year is not the safest thing to do, we’re going online instead! Please let Mr. David know if you’re interested in participating by signing up on line and in the comments section indicate your interest in a big part, small part, and reading level. We will individually record our parts and combine them into a virtual pageant for all our families and friends to see.
